Mitchell Ross

Mitchell is a proud Bidjigal man from La Perouse in southeast Sydney and CEO of Muru.

Mitchell leads the strategic direction of Muru, with a focus on building long-term partnerships that deliver meaningful outcomes for customers while creating lasting impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. He works closely with both customers and the internal team to ensure partnerships are aligned, sustainable, and delivered with consistency and integrity.

With over 25 years of experience across sales, customer engagement, and business leadership, Mitchell brings a clear and commercially grounded perspective to how Muru operates. He remains closely connected to the partnerships Muru supports, ensuring the business continues to evolve in line with customer expectations, procurement requirements, and broader ESG priorities.

Mitchell founded Muru after identifying the opportunity to connect corporate procurement with Indigenous business, creating a pathway that supports both commercial outcomes and community impact.

Outside of work, Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family and friends, BBQs, and travelling to tropical destinations. A passionate sports fan, he follows cricket, the NBA, and his beloved Parramatta Eels.
