How It Started
Muru Group was founded in 2012 by Mitchell Ross, a proud Bidjigal man from La Perouse in southeast Sydney. Mitchell was impacted by the hardships he observed among friends and family in his community, and created Muru to make a difference and build a pathway for future generations of Indigenous people.
In 2014, a partnership was formed between Muru Group and Complete Office Supplies (COS) to found Muru Office Supplies (MOS) — a 100% Australian-owned, Supply Nation certified national workplace supplies provider. Today, MOS combines national supply infrastructure with meaningful Indigenous ownership and community impact.
